Kevan Manwaring is a writer, teacher and storyteller who lives in Stroud, after recently moving there from Bath, where he was a well known resident & contributor to the arts scene - becoming Bard of Bath in 1998. Holder of an MA in the Teaching and Practice in Creative Writing
from Cardiff University, he teaches creative writing for the Open
University and Skyros Writers' Lab. He also runs freelance courses in
storytelling and various aspects of the writing process to a wide
variety of students. As a professional storyteller he has appeared in
numerous shows both solo and with Fire Springs, both in Britain and abroad (USA, Italy Greece and Malta). He is the author of Turning the Wheel, The Bardic Handbook, Lost Islands, the ongoing Windsmith
books and his poems and articles have appeared in several magazines and
anthologies. He resurrected the Bath Writers' Workshop in late 2008 in memory of his friend Simon Miles & is the founder of small press Awen Publications. In 2010 he was a Writer-in-Residence at El Gouna, a resort on the Red Sea, Egypt. He rides a Triumph Legend.

David Lassman was born in Bath, England, and is a writer, consultant and teacher. His writing career began as a columnist and arts journalist for local and regional periodicals, including the Bath Chronicle, Bournemouth Daily Echo and Big Issue South West. After attending Bournemouth University as a mature student he graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Scriptwriting for Film and Television. He is a frequent visitor to Greece and lived on the island of Symi between 2003 and 2006. It was while on Symi that he wrote the novel Freedom's Temple; a modern reimagining of the Theseus and Minotaur myth. As well as running various scriptwriting and creative development workshops and courses in the UK and abroad, he co-runs the Bath Writers Workshop and founded the Bath Screen Academy. David currently lives in Bath and is working on a television drama series based in the city with fellow scriptwriter and award-winning editor Terence James.
