The home of creative writing in Bath & Stroud             

Bath Writers' Workshop was founded in the early 80s by Fred Beake. The late poet Simon Miles took over the running of it in the 90s. He ran it at a number of venues throughout the city. Sadly, Simon died suddenly in 2005. A collection of his poetry, The Signature of Kisses, was published post-humously by Awen Publications. In honour of Simon's memory, Kevan revived the Bath Writers' Workshop in Autumn 2008 at the Percy Community Centre. In early January 2009 David joined him and it settled into its new home, The New Inn. In Spring 2011 Kevan started a Stroud branch.
