Jan 6: 1st Wed workshopping poetry, fiction & non-fiction with Kevan Manwaring, The New Inn, 7-9pm, £4
Jan 12: Write a Novel in 2010 with Kevan Manwaring
Jumpstart that novel, keep going, and get it finished! Whether you are just starting out or have a manuscript in progress, you'll benefit from this course – as we look at concept, character, dialogue, setting, structure, tone, themes, point of view, title and the proposal stage. A supportive, motivating environment, with focused activities and constructive feedback. No experience necessary – just an idea and a willingness to participate in the workshop process. As in all good stories, it's going to be a journey of discovery – and one that may change you, or your book at least (for the better)! Improve your chances on the path to publication with help from an experienced tutor.
New weekly class at Bath Central Library, The Podium, from January 12th 2010.
Tuesday 6-8pm £80 for 8 weeks (possibility of further sessions throughout the year)
Bring: pen, paper and initial idea, or notes/chapters if work-in-progress.
