Poetry Workshop – Writes of Spring
Kevan Manwaring
Saturday 17 March
10.00am-4.00pm
'Sumer is icumen in, Lhude sing cuccu!' The earliest English poem celebrates the coming of Spring. Poets have been waxing lyrical about this evocative time of year ever since. In this supportive and informative workshop we will read and discuss a selection of classic Spring poems before generating our own words about this inspiring season. By the end of the day you will have all you need to get your creative sap stirring and 'grow your own poems'. No experience necessary, just bring pen, paper and your favourite Spring poem.
£30.00 (booking essential)
